November 30, 2006 Full PDF
Litigation partner Lew Clayton's "Intellectual Property Litigation" column is featured in the November 30 edition of the New York Law Journal. The article, "On Disclosing Patent Positions, Standard-Setting Process," examines the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice's recent business review letter approving the policy of a standards-development organization requiring participants in the standards-setting process to disclose their patent positions and the terms on which they will agree to license essential patents. The article also discusses several recent copyright, patent and trademark decisions. Associate Susanna Buergel assisted with the preparation of this article.
