Amran speaks and writes regularly on a variety of topics relating to private funds, including as a panelist for a number of programs hosted by the International Bar Association/American Bar Association and Practising Law Institute.
In 2023, Crain鈥檚 New York Business recognized Amran as an 鈥淣otable Black Leader,鈥� a recognition awarded to accomplished professionals elevating the Black community in the New York City area. Amran was awarded the Africa House Hero Award by New York University Africa House for her advocacy work. She is also on the board of directors of The TEAK Fellowship, a non-profit dedicated to helping talented New York City students from low-income families gain admission to top high schools and colleges.
