A partner in the firm’s San Francisco office, Austin is a member of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Groups. Austin focuses his practice on representing private equity firms in all aspects of their businesses, including domestic and cross-border leveraged and management buyouts, venture and growth capital investments, divestitures, other mergers and acquisitions, equity financings, restructurings and work outs, joint ventures and corporate governance matters. He has developed a particular concentration on structuring, negotiating and managing the corporate, securities and tax aspects of complex transactions.
